Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Granola Tasks (“the Service”), operated by Floofy Labs LLC (“Floofy Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at granolatasks.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Granola Tasks is a productivity tool that connects to your Granola meeting account and uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to extract action items from meeting transcripts. Extracted tasks are automatically created in your configured task management provider (Todoist, Linear, or Microsoft To Do).

The Service requires you to authenticate with Granola via OAuth and to connect a supported task management provider. The Service periodically polls your Granola account for new meetings and processes them automatically.

3. Account and Access

You access the Service by authenticating with your Granola account. By doing so, you represent that you have the right to grant Granola Tasks access to your meeting data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected accounts and for all activity that occurs through your use of the Service.

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or any connected systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law.
• Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to access.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Granola, Anthropic (Claude AI), Todoist, Linear, and Microsoft To Do. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Granola Tasks is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.

6. AI-Generated Content

The task extraction feature uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to analyze meeting transcripts and identify action items. AI-generated results may be incomplete or inaccurate. You acknowledge that:

• Extracted tasks are suggestions and may not capture all action items or may include items not actually assigned to you.
• You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated tasks for accuracy before acting on them.
• Granola Tasks does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.

7. Data and Security

All OAuth tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. We do not store your meeting transcripts beyond the time needed to process them and extract tasks. For more information about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and payment terms are presented at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. You may manage your subscription or cancel at any time through the Settings page or the Stripe customer portal.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you were charged in error.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floofy Labs LLC, its officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that meeting data will be processed within any specific timeframe. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data processing accuracy, or third-party service availability.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your accounts through the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your stored data (tokens, settings, and processed meeting records) will be deleted.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if that fails, through binding arbitration.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
